You're running carefully through the trees

Now is the time to be hunting with friends
Mice are in plenty and the kits want their share
They're calling for food and there's plenty to spare
Sometimes the mice squeal and try to hide

Some give you pity, others think you're a freak
But there's a mission that needs to be finished
The fresh-kill pile has nearly diminished
So put that out of your mind right away
Think, you might be the Leader some day
Don't let those warriors get on your tail
Or you'll be so long the scent will go stale
